Director - Communications - Biotech/Pharma Company

A global biotechnology/pharmaceutical company is looking for a highly experienced communications professional for a Director position within its team in London. Working in partnership with the Senior Director International Communications, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development, implementation and management of internal and external communication strategies.

You will help develop and communicate a corporate communications strategy, with a focus on the UK, acting as the communications lead on significant business priorities, working with cross functional teams. You will lead, plan and deliver proactive corporate PR campaigns that reflect business priorities and you will help to drive the company's corporate narrative, image and brand and communicate it appropriately through external channels. You will also hold line management responsibilities for a Communications Senior Manager.

To be considered for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

*Significant healthcare PR experience (specifically in the UK) gained from working in an agency or in-house with a biotech/pharma company
*In-depth understanding of the UK and international media landscape
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent attention to detail
