Corporate (PR) Communications Manager – National UK Sport’s Governing Body 

Are you experienced within corporate communications and PR and looking to make your next move? Sports is your passion and you would love to work inside the sector. 
Our client, is providing a unique opportunity for a mid-level PR Manager to join a globally established sport’s governing body.
You will play a crucial part in advocating and protecting the governing body’s corporate reputation as well as telling stories that support wider strategic goals.


  • Assisting the head of Corporate Communications in implementing a corporate PR strategy to secure and enhance the governing body and its reputation.
  • Suggesting both pro-active and reactive PR strategies to senior management across the professional and recreational game.
  • Expanding and contributing a stakeholder communications plan for the governing body and reinforcing established relationships.
  • Managing website content.    
  • Regularly reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications and liaising activity within the wider communications team.

The successful candidate for this unique opportunity will thrive in a fast-paced media environment with a constant shift in day-to-day responsibilities. 
You will be competent speaking with journalists and have a keen eye for a story, being able to recognise issues before they arise and react accordingly.
For this opportunity you will be experienced working in the corporate PR team at a leading PR agency network with a track record of working for household named clients or have a strong track record working In house for a corporate communications team. Sports sector experience an advantage.
