One of the UK’s most prolific winner of awards for cutting edge, creative healthcare advertising work seeks a medical strategic director to complement their new strategic department who work across a varied pharmaceutical product portfolio – you will be the key scientific and strategic resource providing medical and clinical understanding and expertise across the agency.

The Medical Strategy Director’s Job:-
  • Actively involved in leading research and development for new business pitches       
  • Critically review content developed by others in the agency, e.g., writers and client services.
  • Convey medical concepts across multiple pieces of business in a succinct, accessible way to clients, KOLs and agency staff.

The Ideal Medical Strategy Director:-
  • You might be from a medcomms agency background and are likely to have come from science education moving through editorial, medical writing kind of background in an agency.
  • Proven ability to leverage science in brand differentiation and communication, and collaborate with copywriters and medical writers to represent the scientific relevance through strategic/creative development of communications plans
  • In depth understanding of multiple pharma brands and disease areas
