Senior Associate / Director - Broad Healthcare Offering - Leading Network Firm
A very exciting senior position has arisen within the healthcare practice of a leading global network firm. The role could be a Senior Associate Director or Director position, depending on the individual and essentially you will be working as a key member of the management team, working closely with the Head of the department and with a main remit in helping to drive and shape the business.
The successful candidate will need to be an ambitious and highly motivated individual to take a lead role on innovative and diverse international healthcare clients, help to grow the current portfolio as well as the people (currently about 35 members of staff). This is an environment which puts much emphasis on culture, creativity and where patient-centricity rules.
The new hire will work with clients who are pioneers in some exciting therapy areas and you will join a team of people who are passionate and proud of their industry-leading work in patient advocacy and disease awareness, internal communications/change programmes and product communications on a European and international level, putting the patient at the centre of what they do, across an enviable client portfolio. With some of the biggest names in pharma as clients at UK, European and Global levels, the potential for this role is huge. In addition to a healthy team dynamic where collaboration is encouraged, there is also a strong new business pipeline.
This role would suit a current Director in an agency or at equivalent level in-house (as long in-house candidates have previous agency experience), however, the firm is also very interested in meeting strong candidates currently at Associate Director level who believe they are ready to take that significant step up to this senior role. You will be working as a partner and ally to the head of the practice and will need to be an effective communicator with a proven record in leading, managing and understanding the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry and have both global and UK experience; consumer healthcare would also be useful. You will be a natural leader and be passionate about managing and nurturing a team. Creativity, boldness and a willingness to collaborate is essential.
As part of a global network firm, you will also be entitled to superb benefits including: a bespoke health and wellbeing plan, health insurance, enhanced maternity + paternity scheme, excellent pension and the opportunity to work in truly superb offices in central London (with breakout rooms, on-site bar and café etc.)
A truly exciting and unique opportunity!
