This vacancy is a 12 month fixed term appointment, based at South Forest District Head Office in Lyndhurst, Hampshire. The temporary appointment is a new role, the result of a restructured team during a period of maternity cover.
The South Forest District Internal Engagement Officer role offers the opportunity for the post holder to write engaging copy for our internal engagement channels and support the Communications Manager, Senior Management Team and HR/Business Support Team on various internal communications projects.
You will be responsible for evolving and maintaining a strategic approach to internal communications and staff engagement with the aim of improving, enhancing and ensuring the ongoing maintenance of internal communications within the District.
You'll be a firm believer in the power of involving employees with ideas to make that happen. You'll know the right communications channel to get our messages out, and the best ways to encourage conversations and hear people's views. You'll be comfortable working alongside and writing for senior leaders and keeping the programme focused on what different audiences need to know.
