An opportunity within a global business for an experienced change manager on an initial six month contract paying £500 per day.

This is a new opportunity to help develop the communications strategy, training and development framework and deliver the change management plan and toolkit to support this company-wide business change. The successful candidate will work closely with the programme deployment and readiness team to execute engagement activity at each stage of the programme, ensuring stakeholders at all levels are kept up to date and well informed. A heavy emphasis will be focused on developing the relevant training materials to help support with the programme.

Reporting to the finance transformation change & comms lead, the change manager is accountable to develop and deliver the change management activities to support the deployment of the new finance operating model in line with the deployment roadmap, and overall transformation change plan.

Purpose of the role

  • Deliver the communication plan to support market deployments. This will involve building a strong understanding of the programme deliverables, timelines to be able to draft the engagement/communications activities
  • Work with various Programme stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop the change and communications activities
  • Implement and manage the change plan with the various markets, so that the different activities/campaigns are deployed as defined by the plan, against the Programme milestones; and overall Change Management plan
  • Be able to identify stakeholders and understand their role, and/or impact of the change, identifying the appropriate change management interventions. This will be reviewed and localised with each market deployment, working with the local market team
  • Work with the programme deployment and business readiness team, supporting them in planning and executing engagement at each phase of the programme, ensuring the change interventions are localised and address the local requirements/change impact
  • Design and deliver the change management plan and deployment toolkit for the change team and market resources to drive successful deployment outcomes
  • Design and develop the training plan and identify the right activities/interventions that meets the learning needs of the impacted stakeholder

Main responsibilities

  • Deliver the change management plan and toolkit, utilising best practice change and communication strategies, so that it delivers the required outcome for each stakeholder group
  • To ensure the change programme is aligned to the holistic Finance transformation vision and transition plans
  • To support the change strategy to ensure the change in ways of working is sustainable and embedded
  • To ensure training aligns to the Operating Model ambitions, in service of the change programme and Finance vision.
  • Track and monitor the effectiveness of the change plan, identifying any key barriers/risks and provide mitigation plans or develop new interventions
