Junior Account Manager – Drinks PR - £27K - £30K

Deep in the heart of South London lives the UK’s leading PR and Events agency in the Drinks sector. They are now looking for a Junior Account Manager to join their 10-person team and work on some of their global wine clients.

The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the agency’s campaigns and projects, constantly liaising with the client and making our plans come to reality across both trade and consumer PR. This is an amazing opportunity to specialise in what is a fascinating sector and work in an ever-evolving agency.

The Role:

• Assist with day-to-day execution of client programs and contribute to client meetings such as taking minutes and providing reliable support.
• Develop good media contacts in areas relevant to client activity.
• Research and write news releases and features for internal approval.
• Liaise with the media with regards to forthcoming events, promotions and features.
• Create weekly and monthly reports.

The Person:

• Experience working in the Drinks PR industry, Wine press contacts are important
• Knowledge of media relations and have had exposure to journalists.
• Ability to actively target UK’s leading news, lifestyle and relevant media including suitable global media
• Social media savvy and able to discuss previous digital experience with confidence
• Creative in terms of creating new and exciting content to engage media and re-purpose existing content from brands to gain additional media coverage
