Communications Manager and Technical Writer

Communications Manager and Technical Writer, Milton Keynes - Brand are recruiting for a Communications Manager and Technical Writer to work in a small and friendly marketing team based in Milton Keynes - you will be an integral part a medium sized global business, with some big plans. This role has been newly created, to take a lead on the business's communications channels, including social media and PR, keeping the companies tone consistent and clear.

Our client has a genuine interest in developing their employees - they want you to learn and grow, take on courses and in turn, bring your ideas back to them and help them grow further. The team there are extremely dedicated, and work to a very flat structure. No person is too big or small to get stuck into a certain task.

Your role will also cover working with some technical and scientific subjects and translating that into an accessible and more understandable format, for a variety of audiences. In addition, your role will sit cross functionally with a variety of other departments, occasionally working with the finance team to create content for shareholders, to legal teams to technical teams.

Our client operates an 'all hands on deck' way of work. Not only will you focus on the business image, tone, content and social media you will get stuck into everything across the marketing mix, so you are able to cover the rest of the team and support on particular projects. Director or assistant, everyone mucks in to the task at hand.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Comms manager to join a business in a pinnacle time, with some really exciting prospects on the horizon. Due to the location of their offices in Milton Keynes this role is commutable from Huntingdon, St Neots, Biggleswade, Milton Keynes, Rushden, Flitwick and St Ives.
