In House Head of Press (Switzerland)

This future-focussed, leading global brand is looking for a Head of Press.  This is a newly-created role that is based in Switzerland, but overseeing multiple global territories.

As a senior member of the team reporting into the VP, you will be responsible for leading all the proactive and reactive media relations activity.  You will be able to demonstrate an ability to navigate complex matrices and to choreograph multiple stories across multiple platforms, both proactively and reactively.

Traditionally trained, you will be accustomed to being on the phone to the media handling media enquiries and calls from early on in your career.  Whilst there is a full media-facing team, you will enjoy being media-facing and be able to lead by example.  You will understand all of the PR components and as a highly experienced PR, you'll have a natural affinity for the natural order when rolling out stories and news.

Candidate requirements

• 10+ years agency & in house PR experience
• Deep understanding of the media
• Gravitas, seniority & diplomacy
• Excellent writing skills
• Outstanding stakeholder management and engagement skills
• High emotional intelligence & social intelligence
• Understanding of and experience in global comms
