Corporate Director

This established agency is looking for an experienced financial services communications director with experience across financial services, asset management and institutional financial services.

This is a newly crafted role, due to new business growth and a buoyant period for the agency.  This environment offers a great place to work within a team who are helpful, collaborative, ambitious, and genuinely happy. 

The ideal candidate will have deep agency experience (and perhaps in-house) experience in managing a range of financial services clients. 

The candidate should be able to show:

• Deep financial services sector knowledge
• Creativity driven by sector insight
• Strong media relations skills – especially asset management
• Strong client relationship management skills
• Excellent writing and proofing skills
• Experience of working on international, multi-agency campaigns
• Experience of working with thought-leadership initiatives based around research and industry data
• Ability to keep account work on track and to agreed deadlines by managing the whole team
• Ability to work as a self-starter who seeks out work rather than waiting for it to come to them

Other skills required include:

• Support new business lead development and pitches
• Have a good understanding digital media and multi-channel communications techniques
• Have high standards of written work
• Be a strong verbal communicator and presenter
• Be well organised and enthusiastic
• Pride themselves in doing a great job
