We are working with an integrated marketing communications business who help clients by making them unique in their markets, and valuable to customers and shareholders. Currently they are looking for a Financial Account Director to come on board and manage a high profile international banking client. A background in financial services is a must, and experience of working internationally would be a significant advantage.
Core Responsibilities
- Use your corporate/B2B PR experience to help plan and implement impactful PR campaigns
- Develop and lead PR strategies from formulation through to execution, aligning them with clients’ key business objectives
- Ability to combine creativity with knowledge of the media and your media contacts to recognise media angles and generate positive news coverage, profile pieces and features across a broad media spectrum, both internationally and on-the-ground in Africa
- Effectively manage people in the organisation to hit and exceed targets
- Ability to write quality, engaging press releases
- Contributing strategic approach/content to new business pitches
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and a selfstarter. They will need to take ownership of their role and be excited about taking a pivotal position within a rapidly expanding brand and communications agency.
