Excellent opportunity for an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join this award winning destinations PR agency.

My client, an outstanding B2B / B2C PR agency has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join their vibrant and constantly growing team. The agency has a large number of big name clients across the B2B and consumer sectors covering lifestyle, destination, retail and property brands.

About The (Senior) Account Manager role

As an Account Manager, you will have an exciting opportunity to broaden your strategic PR and communications skills within a dynamic and fast paced environment.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Influence the strategic and creative direction of award-winning consumer and B2B PR campaigns
  • Have significant input in the entire new business process from creative brainstorming to developing strategy and pitching for new clients
  • Lead media relations activity for a range of high impact retail, lifestyle and destination campaigns
  • Create compelling copy for both B2B and B2C audiences, leading to impressive media coverage
  • Direct and manage junior members of the team to support marketing and events activity
  • Quickly progress to a Senior Account Manager by continuously impressing with excellent client management skills and outstanding press coverage

As an Account Manager, you will lead all PR activity across some of the agency's biggest client accounts similar to Oxford Street and Westfield Shopping Centre. You will be expected to develop and maintain a fantastic relationship with clients and media alike, whilst managing junior members of the team.

About you

The new (Senior) Account Manager will have worked within the consumer PR industry (ideally retail / property / destinations experience) and have a good black book of contacts.

You will have:

  • Strong consumer PR agency experience is preferred
  • Excellent contacts within the consumer and B2B media, with a background in property, retail or destination PR
  • An interest in working within a small agency, with a big agency's mentality
  • Strong writing skills and confidence proactively pitching to journalists
  • You will be a creative, lateral thinker that is keen for your ideas to be heard
  • Previous social media and event management experience
  • New business experience would also be a plus
