A hugely new exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Executive to work for a creative PR agency, working specifically on a very famous, internationally-known and highly reputable client. You would be working for a well-established, creative PR agency, yet working within the offices of this hugely exciting and famous client. This is essentially an in-house role, yet you are employed by an agency! This is a brilliant and unique opportunity for an experienced and ambitious candidate to work in some modern, exciting enviable offices for a huge brand. This role would only suit someone who has at strictly at least a year and a half of experience in PR at the very minimum, is highly intelligent and has a natural flair for news, coupled with excellent news and editorial judgement, and an extensive knowledge of how the media operates.

Your role as Account Executive

  • Create, develop and manage engaging corporate news stories, examining the daily news agenda for opportunities through the calendar year
  • Maintaining relationships for the client with key news and retail media, influencers and bloggers
  • Work with the rest of the PR team to give guidance to the client on issues management
  • Drafting reacting statements and responses, dealing with journalists who approach us with negative stories
  •  liaising with client teams to solve problems and come up with solutions
  • Draft press releases and contact key media

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 18 months experience in PR (at the very minimum; strictly will not look at anyone with any less)
  • A fantastic academic record
  • Be able to write to a very high standard, as well as being very articulate
  • Solid social media experience
  • Experience of working across communication disciplines - internal /corporate
  • Experience of PR in a retail environment
