A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a rapidly growing PR and Social Media consultancy for an ambitious and enthusiastic Account Manager to join their tight-knit and social team.
The agency creates and delivers powerful communication campaigns for big brands, small businesses and charities. The role would suit a dynamic team player who has a solid consumer background and experience in consumer issues. You will work on a great range of clients including Financial, Not-for-Profit and Health and Well being. This would suit a curious candidate and switched on candidate who wants to get stuck in to some exciting campaigns.
As Account Manager your responsibilities will include:
- Using contacts and excellent media relations skills to achieve outstanding press coverage in national and consumer press
- Organising and managing creative and innovative campaigns
- Profile building for the agency through traditional media relations and social media
- Managing a variety of accounts and junior members of the account team
- Proactively identifying new business leads and networking
- Developing creative ways to help change consumer’s minds and patterns of behaviour towards their clients
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in a consumer agency and working on consumer issues
- Outstanding media relations skills and knowledge of national and consumer press
- Excellent writing and verbal communication
- Proven client management skills
- Solid understanding of social media channels and tools
