Exciting opportunity for a Financial PR Account Manager to join an award-winning financial & corporate comms agency in London.

Our client, an award winning corporate and financial services communications agency, is looking for a rising star to join their London team. Providing an exciting opportunity to get involved in a diverse portfolio of financial PR client briefs, plus excellent support to progress your career within the agency.

This top five comms advisory firm has been highly praised for its help in acting as advocates for their FPR and corporate brand clients. Providing counsel on any number of issues ranging from reputation management and improvement through to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), transactions, and Initial Public Offering (IPOs); communicating messages to key audiences and often working with very senior management teams, e.g. CEOs and Heads of Comms. Thus, those who think creatively, are strategic and have an interest in financial markets really would excel at this agency.

To be considered you will be an Account Manager looking for more or an established Senior Account Executive with ambition to progress up. You will be passionate about PR and interested in financial PR and corporate communications. The consultancy is particularly interested in media focused and entrepreneurial candidates, with excellent communication skills; as there is real scope with this role to be involved in all stages, make the most of your media network, and rapidly progress within their training programme.

The role:

Reporting directly into an Account Director, you’ll enjoy leading on the day-to-day implementation of client communication programmes and get involved in all stages of the process, such as generating creative ideas, client liaising, drafting press releases, market intelligence, talking with media, reports, and supporting at brand events (plus more).

Key attributes:

  • Good communications skills, ideally agency gained
  • Passionate about Financial PR and the media
  • Confident and personable; able to build relationships with media, team and clients
  • Strategic, analytical thinker with good initiative
  • Good understanding of both traditional and digital public relations
  • Incisive, creative and strategic problem solver
  • Good understanding of financial and corporate communications and the delivery channels for communications to a variety of client stakeholders
  • Self-aware and able to adapt personal style and approach to clients and team
  • A team player who is willing to be involved in all aspects of the business
