Communications Manager - In-house - Consumer

We have partnered with a global consumer brand who now seek to appoint a Communications Manager to drive their brand and assist with their digital offering as a business. The brand is a household name and a trusted consumer giant. 

As a communications manager, your background will be consumer and or FMCG. You will have a background in PR, with a great black book of contacts, PLUS you must also have a good understanding of digital practices and bloggers in the market. Coupled with this you will manage and lead a small team, who will assist you with your communications plans.  If you love writing and driving a brand this is the perfect role for you. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a communications plan
• Build the organisations reputation through pro-active media relations
• Develop strong relationships with external stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with bloggers
• Oversee the digital content offering
• Driving content and building the brand 
• Managing and mentoring a team
• CSR
• Forging relationships with trade bodies, NGO's etc 
• Manage external PR agencies
