A leading global agency, who work with some of the world’s most well-known brands within the financial and corporate sectors, is currently searching for an ambitious and experienced Associate Director to join their financial and professional services team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hugely successful agency, who have offices in the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Asia, providing expert strategic advice and execution to major clients. The agency offers an open, collaborative environment, and encourage creativity and forward-thinking in their campaigns. This role would suit someone with a strong corporate background, who has a good understanding of how the financial community operates.

As Associate Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Devise and implement communications strategies and programmes for a variety of financial and professional services clients
  • Develop messaging materials for corporate communications collaterals
  • News monitoring, press analysis and summaries
  • Forging productive relationships with clients, press and investment analysts
  • Research for current clients and new business opportunities
  • Media relations; demonstrating an understanding of the broad media landscape, pitching stories and responding to in-coming calls

You will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in a corporate, financial and/or professional services communications role, gained in either an agency or in-house
  • A sound understanding of the business environment and current affairs, including awareness of the developments in and opportunities around digital and social media
  • Knowledge of how the broader financial and professional services community operates
  • An ability to forge strong relationships with clients new and old, and with a variety of stakeholders
  •  An eye for the news with the ability to scope out a story
