Account Manager

Mc&T are looking for a trail-blazing Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to come and join our growing agency where we work on some of the most exciting clients in the business. We're looking for someone with a positive, can-do attitude, that relishes the chance to get on the phones to media and get coverage for our clients, in addition to being a complete team player.

Our work is very varied and can encompass a product launch one day, a media junket the next, or any level of stunt or brand activation. We work across many verticals - film, music, technology, telecoms, retail banking, entertainment, food & beverage, so no two days are the same. Phew!

Day to day activities include:

• Speaking to media on a daily basis, building relationships and getting coverage for our clients
• Managing a junior team and helping organize cross-agency workflow
• Helping write media materials
• Contributing to and attending agency new business pitches
• Defining media strategy and selling it to the client
• Coming up with creative ideas that are culturally relevant  - both small and large
• Contributing to the agency with ideas that make it a more progressive, fun and enjoyable place to work!

The skills a successful applicant will have include:

• Digital + traditional PR experience 
• Good writing skills 
• A can-do attitude
• Ability to pick up the phone to any media and speak to them with confidence
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Team player
• Good time keeping skills
• Love culture, news and the internet (hills, mountains, sheep okay too)
