Charity and Philanthropy Communications Manager – City Bridge Trust

Salary £55,430 - £63,330 per annum inclusive

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the City of London Corporation’s charitable funder, City Bridge Trust (CBT) working to reduce inequality and build more cohesive communities.

You will lead, influence and advise senior leaders on the development and implementation of a corporate strategy for the promotion and communication of the City Corporation’s philanthropic, charitable and responsible business activity.

You will direct and co-ordinate all external and internal communications in relation to the City Corporation’s philanthropic, charitable and responsible business activity: working collaboratively across departments, seizing opportunities to promote such activity, drawing on and connecting up colleagues’ expertise to create a coherent narrative; bespoke messaging; and clear communication outputs - deepening the understanding and impact of the work.

You will represent the City Corporation as a key spokesperson and ambassador in relation to all of its charitable, philanthropic and responsibility business activity: actively promoting all such activity across a wide range of stakeholders to increase the positive impact on individuals and communities, especially those experiencing disadvantage and marginalisation.

This post is politically restricted.

If you feel you have the requisite skills then we'd love to hear from you.

The CBT team works flexibly and encourages applications on the basis of job share.

Closing date: Noon on 17 December 2018.

Interviews will be held in the New Year.
