A well-respected global PR agency is looking for an ambitious Senior Account Manager to join their high-calibre Financial Services team. The agency offers fantastic opportunities to for career development under the guidance of some of the best in the industry and the successful candidate will gain exposure to high-profile international brands and campaigns.

They are a mid/large sized agency with a team of c.150 and have plans to grow another 20-30% in 2019 with ambitious plans to become a top 10 agency.

This award-winning team of ‘best place to work’, provides strategic communications counsel to some of the UK’s leading companies in a range of sectors from privately held or listed through to FTSE 100 and international firms. You will have strong experience in advising companies on their financial and corporate communications and a background in financial services, asset management, capital markets, professional services or insurance.

Your responsibilities:

  • Acting as day to day counsel to clients, supporting the development of their communications strategies as a whole
  • Providing leadership and guidance to colleagues whilst also identifying development and training opportunities for the team
  • Supporting the shaping and steering of strategy for clients’ ongoing engagement with the media, analyst and investor community
  • Devising and delivering strategies to use social media/digital channels to deliver client objectives
  • Growing existing and winning new business, leading on pitches and networking for leads

An ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong experience in advising companies on their financial and corporate communications
  • A background in financial services/asset management/capital markets/professional services and/or insurance
  • Good budget management skills and the ability to build strong relationships based on trust and respect
  • Confidence handling new business opportunities
  • The want to work in an exciting, vibrant and growing environment
