Head of Communications- Charity

A UK charity are looking for a Head of Communications to join their reshaped Communications and Marketing team. You’ll be leading a team to drive successful internal communications and social media engagement in order to drive influence and impact. You must have the ability to provide highly effective crisis communications management, run a busy press office and have an abundance of energy and commitment!

Responsibilities:

• Driving influence and impact
• Managing a team
• Delivering effective communications strategies and leading cross-channel campaigns
• Providing highly effective crisis communications management
• Using internal communications and social media platforms as a tool for reaching people and engaging them
• Managing conferences and events, to ensure the ability to connect with a diverse community

Requirements:

• To be passionate and committed
• To have effective people and performance management skills
• Experience running a busy press office
• To be professional, respectful, focused and driven
