Associate Director- Public Affairs- Financial Services

A large strategic communications agency are looking for an Associate Director to join their award-winning Public Affairs team to work on Financial Services clients. You will have broad Public Affairs experience including policy development and analysis, strategic planning, stakeholder mapping and campaigning. You must also have experience of working on Financial Services clients or you may also have frontline political experience. You will take an active role in the development of programme strategy for clients and maintain an active network of contacts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop existing client base
• Oversee all client contact, offering strategic counsel
• Take an active role in the development of programme strategy for clients
• Participate in and lead new business campaigns
• Maintain a varied network of contacts
• Provide clients with first hand insight
• Be a thought leader within the business and industry

Requirements:

• Broad base of Public Affairs skills- experience of working on financial clients/ in-house for a financial services business/ relevant government or membership body
• Team management/ leadership
• Strong understanding of the demands of integrated communications
• Someone who can work in a creative, forward thinking and fast paced environment
