Technology Marketing and Communications Manager

A high-profile, international legal practice is looking for a proactive legal technology marketing and communications manager to join their dynamic team. The company, renowned for their outstanding expertise in the banking, corporate, and international capital markets sectors, is one of the world’s top law firms. With many of their partners acknowledged as leaders in their fields, and with a strong reputation for delivering excellence, this opportunity is ideal for an experienced media relations professional with a solid understanding of the corporate business market.

As marketing and communications manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Playing a leading role in building the profile of the firm and presenting the company’s values
  • Acting as an advisor to major corporates, as well as advising to senior management on all comms related matters
  • Briefing on topical issues and commenting on market opportunities
  • Driving the social media activity of the company
  • Organising ongoing media training programmes to develop the PR skills of key spokespeople
  • Building and maintaining relationships, with key target trades and also colleagues within the work place
  • Acting as the primary media contact for all queries relating to the corporate practice

The ideal marketing and communications manager will have:

  • Proven experience, ideally in professional services, and be a seasoned practitioner
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proven experience of crisis/issues management
  • The ability to proactively identify and sell-in commentary opportunities
  • The skills to plan and track PR activity
  • The ability to advise and influence senior members of the global corporate practice and teams
