Job Details
EMR are working with the UK's leading independent agency to hire a Group Account Director on a permanent basis. You will manage the senior client facing team within the agency, who look after accounts in the property sector.
You will lead and develop account teams, and have the ability to grow the group further. You will also be tasked with adding value by developing senior client relationships and helping the group build their offering and develop the strategic framework.
You will have an exceptional track record growing accounts, leading integrated communications campaigns, and nurturing internal talent to create successful teams.
The role will require 1-2 days per week in London, the South Coast, and the remote management of a team in the Midlands, so the desire to work in multiple locations is a must.
The role offers a generous salary, with performance related bonuses and excellent benefits.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead, shape and grow teams, from Account Directors to Assistants, owning the career development of your teams
* Build on existing client relationships at the most senior and mid levels, to retain and grow accounts
* Act as a key stakeholder in building the agency's offering and driving the strategic framework
* Help identify and convert business development and new business opportunities
* Have full financial responsibility for delivering YoY growth of clients
Key skills and experience:
* A strong track record of senior integrated agency experience managing clients, campaigns & teams across multiple locations
* Property sector experience is preferred
* Proven ability to deliver YoY growth of accounts and developing new business
* Inspiring leader of teams, internally and externally and strong understanding of how to motivate and develop teams
* Ability to create and deliver against robust business plans, including measurement and being able to define success
