Head of Investor Relations and Internal Communications

A FTSE 250 organisation is looking for a Head of Investor Relations and Internal Communications. Repotting directly into the Group CFO and working closely with the Group HR Director to deliver on both IR and IC strategies.

Head of investor relations responsibilities:

• Help develop and deliver an investor relations strategy and framework
• Create and manage a strong reputation
• Manage equity research and investor relationships
• Responsible for overseeing and managing trading updates, half and full year earnings calls and capital market days
• Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance on regulatory matters
• Assist with preparation of the Annual Report

Internal Communications Lead responsibilities:

• Develop & deliver a calendar of news aligned to the corporate strategy, to engender people engagement
• Lead an informal network of colleagues as ambassadors for open communication
• Develop and lead a communication plan to assist with the company vision
• Assist cross-business teams with putting in place effective communication flows

Skills:

• Highly numerical and commercially aware, being able to analyse information to identify key issues
• Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft engaging and impactful messages
• Strong interpersonal skills, being able to build meaningful relationships
• Able to perform in a high pressure environment, meet tight deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with bespoke Business Intelligence systems
