My client, an innovative outsourcing company, is looking for an Internal Communications Manager to join its Corporate Affairs team.

Based in stunning central London offices your role will be to work closely with the Group Head of Internal Communications to manage and execute the strategy for front-line engagement across the business.

This is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone with a passion for employee engagement, for a few reasons:

- firstly, the workforce is widely displaced, presenting interesting challenges from an internal communications perspective
- secondly, comms in still relatively early in its life cycle, and there is a genuine appetite for success across the business to. Consequently there is perhaps more scope than usual to make an impact with this role. Indeed the Head of IC is keen to give this person a lot of headroom and the opportunity to drive their own agenda
- lastly, the company's offering spans a remarkable breadth of sector activity. Its services include technology and innovation, energy consultancy, risk assessment and security, real estate, catering and environmental. It manages and maintains some of the nation's most recognised landmarks, high street buildings and even homes in the community

Desired experience includes:
- a lot of initiative, and an inherently proactive approach to internal comms
- comfortable working in a small, agile team with a hands-on mentality
- high level influencing and communication skills
- use of digital tools, social media and technology to create engaging content which supports communications activities
- adept at identifying, managing and developing strong internal stakeholder relationships across a wide range of levels
- a team player who enjoys new challenges, including creatively thinking about solutions to problems, often with limited budget or resources
- good presentation skills both internally and client facing
