Internal Communications Specialist

This is a part-time role. A global FMCG brand is looking for someone to provide communication and administrative support to the HR Communications team. You will support on change communications projects that run across multiple countries. This role is a part-time role covering three days per week and the salary will be pro-rated as such. The role is based in North West London.

The hiring manager is looking for someone enthusiastic, organised and hard-working with an understanding of communications, and in particular, change communications in a global organisation.

The role:

• Understanding project objectives to set out clear project communication plans
• Good project management / organisational skills to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and competing deadline
• Ownership of HR communications project database and editorial calendar
• Logistical arrangements, as required - (to include, print, room bookings etc.) for HR-led events / activities
• Manage translation of key HR communication materials and documents
• Interface with PAC teams scheduling / routines and plans
• Coordination of HR-led events (Leadership briefings / pan-HR activities)
• Distribution of internal announcements
• Bi-monthly circulation of HR communications routines and schedule
• Formatting documents, decks and digital copy to a high standard
• Content / change narrative development support
• Coordination of project plans and timelines for deliverables and activities
• Participation in internal team and stakeholder discussions offering ideas and insights
• Ad hoc project support / administrative tasks, as required (to include, purchase orders, co-ordination of distribution lists for HR communications

Capabilities:

• Acts as project change communications coordinator for projects that run across multiple countries
• Ensuring project delivery is integrated internally and externally, across multiple channels and reach all relevant audiences
• Manages day-to-day relationships with external support as needed to meet project objectives
• Responsible for uploading and publishing content on CCEP channels
• Evaluate and report the effectiveness of communication approaches through program analytics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong awareness of best practice

Skills & Essentials:

• University Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Change management and / or communication related qualification / experience preferred but not essential
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a corporate environment
• Demonstrable experience as a communications specialist within project / programme / HR change
• High proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design software
• Solid editing and research skills
• Proficient in programs such as Campaign Monitor, Poppulo
• Understanding and experience of various communication approaches and strategies across a variety of channels including digital
• Creative and innovative with excellent attention to detail
• Confident with interaction at all levels of the organisation
