Account Director – public affairs/policy + media comms

Role: Account Director

Reporting into an ASD, the successful candidate will be a capable and confident trailblazer, experienced in providing strategic and media advice to clients in the private, public and charitable sectors. Will enjoy managing a portfolio of mainly UK focused accounts, handling client relationships and overseeing projects, as well as nurturing more junior colleagues.

This role is a unique opportunity for an AD with strong media relations experience and a passion for public affairs to develop their career in this area whilst helping clients benefit from your expertise.

Key attributes:

• A proven track record in public affairs and media handling
• Experience working in agency or within a similar in-house public affairs role
• Understand the media landscape and know how to create and sell-in stories
• Well versed in political campaigning and lobbying with a thorough knowledge and understanding of Westminster and Whitehall
• Can manage a portfolio of clients
• Experience of stakeholder engagement
• Proactive, organised and with a good attention to detail
• Able to work effectively across several projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent personal and professional conduct
