The Role
The Communications Office is driving forward a programme of work to better align communications resource across the House of Commons behind the organisation’s strategic priorities. The new Deputy director: internal communications will have a key role to play in this programme of work – working closely with the Communications Director.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Proven success in overseeing the development and delivery of effective communications strategies and plans with multiple stakeholders - underpinned by robust evaluation programmes
- Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate teams working under pressure; manage competing priorities and deadlines; and manage change.
