Account Director, stakeholder engagement
This well-regarded, forward-thinking consultancy has a clear and innovative vision for its staff and clients. In its new phase of growth planned for 2019 it is seeking a knowledgeable and analytically-minded Account Director to take a pivotal role in its growing stakeholder relations and public engagement practice. Set up to help clients identify and engage with a broad array of important stakeholders, the practice sits as part of the wider corporate team and will play an integral part in its growth.
Your stakeholder engagement credentials will be extensive - either gained in a corporate comms or public affairs consultancy. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and steering delivery of large-scale integrated campaigns that produce real impact for clients. Your role will be one of trusted adviser - client facing from the outset - so you will need the confidence and experience to lead by example and to get to grips with big projects quickly.
You’ll be at ease forming and growing relationships with a wealth of key stakeholders across professional and industry bodies, journalists and broader commentators; and you’ll also enjoy staying abreast of political and social developments that may impact your clients. You’ll have a natural business mind and will have a talent for new business - not just drawing in new leads but spotting opportunities to grow existing client accounts. Coupled with that, you’ll be a down-to-earth and encouraging people manager.
