An exciting opportunity has arisen with an award-winning cultural communications agency who are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Account Manager to join their really friendly team. This is a fantastic time to be joining the agency as they are expanding rapidly and winning lots of great new business within the arts, culture and luxury sectors. The agency also have offices in Asia making this the perfect role for somebody who wishes to work with some different and international brands.

This Account Manager will be providing communications consultancy and executive level delivery support for a brand new project. You will be involved with setting up the destination's / and the organisation's brand, internal and external comms protocols and providing a press office function and social media tools.

The role requires a proactive and highly organised individual with a meticulous eye for detail!

Responsibilities:

  • Managing campaigns for clients across the arts, culture and luxury sectors, including, but not limited to, commercial galleries, art fairs, public institutions, not-for-profits and festivals
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Planning and implementing strategic media and digital campaigns for clients
  • Creating and editing press releases, media lists and publicity plans
  • Liaising with stakeholders in the corporate, events and culture sectors
  • Building relationships with UK and international media
  • Researching and writing new business proposals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in the PR or communications industries, ideally with an agency
  • A genuine and demonstrable passion for arts and culture
  • Proven experience in team leadership and management
  • Strong contacts in both the UK and international media, ideally in the arts, culture and luxury sectors
  • Proven experience in managing client relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
