As their PR Manager your aim will be to gain favourable brand awareness and positive press coverage in trade publications, magazines, online, newspapers and broadcast media. You will be required to get positive press coverage with a core focus on primarily the trade and online media. You will be enthusiastic, extremely well organized, with excellent communications, writing and computer skills. You will need to be self-motivated, able to work under pressure and should be flexible. 

Key Responsibilities

• You will develop, implement and measure plans that supports the commercial objectives for company
• Write press releases and other newsworthy issues in line with the commercial strategy.  
• Strong media sell-in skills – able to brief journalists on information about specific aspects of products and campaigns. 
• Establish strong working relationships across the company to identify and develop news stories for the media and stakeholder communications
• Highlight activity that can be leveraged with the national media to the Head of Group PR/agency and oversee execution
• Working with the UK PR Manager, arrange interviews with spokespeople and the media, providing clear briefings and messaging as well as attending the interview
• Identify and manage feature opportunities in the trade media
• Monitor the key trade media, including magazines, journals and blogs
• Editing and writing of features, articles, and papers for print and web-based media
• Amplify materials produced and coverage achieved across the UK and maximise the exposure of key initiatives through various channels.
