Consultant (SAE-SAM) - Healthcare/Life Sciences

A Global Communications agency are looking for a new consultant to join their really fun team! They are based in the West End of London and a team of c.50, working across Healthcare, Food and Drink, Technology, Energy and Global Solutions with more than 30 offices in major cities throughout North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

The Consultant could be a strong SAE ready to step up, an established AM or even a SAM – due to the role requiring the candidate to be the day to day lead on clients and have a real understanding on the Healthcare space, talking to B2B/Corp/Trade press.

Responsibilities

• Manage and implement a wide range of corporate communications
• Serving as the key client contact while also managing staff to successfully maintain and grow client relationships
• Create effective messages and produce and edit high-quality written deliverables, such as bespoke messaging, issue backgrounders, briefings, press materials, and social media content
• Actively participate in business development activities including writing proposals and developing pitch decks

Requirements

• Strategic communications experience, preferably in an agency
• A good understanding of the UK healthcare policy and media landscape
• Exceptional writing and analytical skills, and the ability to write both strategically and creatively
• Solid project management experience, including overseeing a team and multiple deliverables
