Job Details
A public purpose company are recruiting for a policy and stakeholder manager who will cover a wide range of transition initiatives to support the company's purpose there is considerable opportunity to influence, contribute and manage transformational change across the industry.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide support to the wider organisation on business led transition projects to include research and analysis, stakeholder management, planning and ensuring the quality of the end deliverable.
* Understand and contribute to all initiatives, ensuring appropriate internal and external stakeholders are engaged, building relationships along the way and ensuring effective communications occurs across all parties.
* Provide support to the Communications Director on development of the plan and position papers on related artefacts.
* Support the programme stakeholders to ensure all initiatives are well run, clearly specified and deliver the expected benefits
* Development of a comprehensive stakeholder map for the organisation * Research and analysis on related issues within the remit of the scheme
* Drafting of transition materials e.g. papers, briefings, publications * Attending conferences, external meetings and internal transition related activities.
Knowledge and Experience
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to build relationships and present clearly to a range of audiences
* Have a background in research and have an interest in public policy
* Analytic skills, an inquisitive mind and a rigorous approach.
* Have experience of delivering transformational change
