Director / Associate - Head of UK - lead role

We have partnered with a European office who have been established for circa 20 years and are a market leader in the property and real estate sector. Working with global brands who require branding across UK & Europe, they now realise that they need to establish a UK operation, and they seek to appoint a Director / Associate or Head of UK. We are seeking someone smart, ambitious and fearless to take a senior role in opening up the UK business. 

The specific level of the role is flexible - it could be Partner or Associate Partner, depending on experience. What's certain is this is a senior leadership role, reporting into the Board, working closely with the founders - who are hugely respected industry figures with a track record in major PR agencies. Ideally, you will have an entrepreneurial streak and be looking to grow a fully supported and financed new business operation in the UK. 

The role demands someone with a willingness to embrace the challenge, excitement and rewards of growing a business, and you will play a key role in this growth. You will have a superb attitude, highly capable with clients, extremely thorough, and comfortable being very visible in the agency. Your background will be in the property and or finance sector. This is a very hands-on role and you will be working with their global brands driving their clients who are in real estate in the UK market, and ideally, candidates would have good contacts in the financial media press. 

Although it's still relatively early days the offering is being built broadly around brand work. Getting the message absolutely right, and making it as emotive as possible. Substance, not fluff. Building narratives and telling stories that people can genuinely connect with. At present, the UK projects are handed over to UK agencies and as the workload has increased they realise that they need to keep hold of the business and capitalise on the growth. 

You will have the full support of your colleagues in the European offices, and along with driving the UK campaigns, you will also start to build the UK business with this role moving into an MD and beyond, so a clear career path for the right candidate.
