Exceptional Associate Director needed!  Instantly recognisable consumer health + wellbeing brands.  Award winning agency.  Dedicated division offering exceptional scope to lead on a great mix of big health and wider b2c food, nutrition and wellbeing clients.

About them:

Based in central London, this impressive client is a highly creative integrated agency, boasting an ever growing enviable client list and partnering some awesome health, food/drink, entertainment, technology, gaming, pharma, retail & FMCG brands.  Highly innovative and fitting within a larger marketing group they achieve through the line 360 campaigns; delivering highly engaging and creative campaigns which integrate media, innovative social, influencer engagement, sponsorship & events.  With an experienced senior team at the helm their ambitious plans for the next 5 years are being realised and as they continue to win prolific new business for their consumer division they have set up a dedicated health & wellbeing team, which is already seeing great results. They are now looking to bolster this at Associate Director level.

The role:

Supporting the Executive Director this is a great opportunity to help lead and grow a consumer health practice; working on a variety of flagship accounts including a leading healthcare provider, a larger pharma brand along with a food/nutrition account brand as well as a charity. You will oversee and lead campaigns delivering first class coverage through media relations and original event creation with a particular emphasis on influencing and positively changing consumer behavior. About 60% client focused and 40% new business development.

Candidate attributes & responsibilities:

  • Managing & lead flagship consumer and healthcare & wellbeing clients on a broad range of campaigns and events disciplines
  • Be able to take a client brief for a new project and manage the process of delivering a proposal (with support from Directors)
  • Implement a quality process to ensure that everything delivered by your team is to the highest possible standard
  • Manage a multi-disciplinary team across a range of work streams
  • Love the challenge of pitching and winning new business
  • A creative thinker, with the ability to add insight and new ideas to campaign proposals
  • A strong collaborative team player who leads by example
  • A driven, talented and lovely PR professional.

The successful candidate will be an assured strategic account leader who have a strong creative streak & show a real passion for health and consumer PR – ideally with some pharma and wellbeing experience; offering proven past experience generating creative strategy and leadership which blend traditional, content, sponsorship/events and digital platforms.  Candidates will also need the confidence to effectively advise senior clients and manage significant budgets, while motivating a team and ensuring everyone is challenged while smashing client KPIs and delivering to deadline.
