PR & Consumer Outreach Manager

Our client is an amazing, unique food brand.  They have taken the market by storm, championed as true food entrepreneurs they are really keen to push their consumer outreach and PR forward by getting someone on board.  They know they don't want "PR by numbers", they know they was someone who is ready to break the rules, remake those rules and make their company a media sensation.

They are firmly in the healthy eating space, but they believe healthy eating should make you happy, not hungry and that mealtimes should be enjoyable, nutritious and, above all, convenient.  They have over 2000 crowd-funding investors and an every growing following of loyal customers.  Their products are sold in the largest retailers in the US and the UK.

As PR and Outreach Manager, you will be their top brand ambassador speaking to journalists, consumers and other businesses to find the best opportunities to promote our products across both the UK and US markets.

The role includes opportunities to travel to the United States and Europe for trade & consumer events.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Plan and create creative PR and marketing strategies alongside the company founders
• Supporting product launches and driving coverage around them
• Write press materials and pitch to the consumer lifestyle and national media
• Delivering plans for securing influencer and co-branding collaborations
• Working closely with the marketing team to ensure news/launches/events are measured for impact

The Candidate must have:

• Strong experience in the consumer PR space, ideally in the health food or FMCG space
• An established list of contacts in the consumer lifestyle and national media
•  A proactive nature and forward-thinking mind-set
•  Accustomed to a fast-paced and exhilarating environment
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to produce impressive content under pressure and meet tight deadlines
