EMERGE is looking for motivated and creative Senior Account Manager to join the London team, working in a strategic, fast paced role, at a growing Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of tech and lifestyle clients, including, ViaVan, Huel, Spanx, Huel, Mason + Fifth, Opogo, Unilever Luxury Brands, Another Space, rewardStyle. 

Working closely with their Senior Account Director, the candidate will work across their clients on communications strategy, global partnerships, PR campaigns, and creative ideation. 

The role is based in London, Soho and reports directly to a Senior Account Director.

The main aspects of this role will involve:

  • Manage Account team

  • Manage day to day communications strategy, implementation and client relationships 

  • Educate clients, especially those that are International, on the UK landscape, confidentially news hijacking and responding to cultural and social fluctuations 

  • Executing PR  strategy for new product launches, product features, brand announcements & campaigns across multiple markets 

  • Proposing and developing creative partnerships to achieve press value in quieter news moments for clients

  • Evaluating campaigns against key communications metrics and optimizing accordingly; analyzing and reporting on campaign results and KPIs, highlighting successes, trends, and opportunities 

  • Involvement in wider growth objectives for the Agency. 

  • Profiling and promoting CEO’s and brand founders where relevant, through traditional media, speaker events, podcasts, awards. 

    • Providing strategic counsel to clients to aid their PR and wider marketing campaigns
    • Building relationships with key media contacts
    • Play a key role in mentoring and developing more junior members of the team 

     

About You:

  • Excellent contacts across PR, brands, media and suppliers

  • Ability to seamlessly execute all projects from beginning to end 

  • Meticulous attention to detail, especially with regards to spelling and grammar.

  • Interest in the media landscape, podcasts, pop-ups, and London’s calendar of events.
     

Required experience, knowledge, and skills:

 

  • Approximately 3-5  years' experience in communications either agency or brand side 

  • Strategic approach to communications inclusive of all channels 

  • Experience of running successful communications campaigns 

  • Experience in managing budgets for marketing and/or communications campaigns 

  • Understanding of media landscape and the different verticals through which people now download media - not just limited to traditional PR channels

  • Experience in working with Tech and Lifestyle brands 

  • Excellent writing skills, especially in drafting ‘on-brand’ content, press releases, and statements 

  • Experience in managing a small team 

  • Excellent emotional intelligence, business judgment and discretion. 
  • Experience leading diverse, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
