This global real estate powerhouse with flashy central London offices and an impeccable global reputation is looking for a confident Interim PR Manager to execute its comms strategy for its prestigious commercial investment business. The company facilitates many cross-boarder deals, particularly investments from elite Asia investors in commercial properties, including office and leasing, across Europe. This is a high – profile role with lots of exposure to senior stakeholders and is ideal for someone with superb writing skills and extensive media sell-in experience within the property industry. The job holder will also support the comms function of the company’s regional UK offices and will travel within the UK on a monthly basis.

 The Role 

Key challenges and opportunities in this PR Manager role:

  • Be a key lifeline at one of the busiest press offices in the UK, liaising and coordinating investment stories with b2b and b2c teams within the company
  • Devise and implement proactive PR strategies for the business, leveraging on high profile transactions and investment trends to achieve coverage in national and trade publications
  • Hold strong media relations across the national, trades and local press – you will be speaking to journalists, correspondents of key regional newspapers and online journals, attending regional events, media interviews, research seminars and briefings
  • Assist with the functionalities of running media relations for such a high-profile company, from media lists, updating the website to translating and sending out press releases
  • Support PR teams at the company’s regional offices in the UK 
  • This role includes monthly travel around the UK so you won’t be tied to your desk

The Person

Key attributes and experience for this PR Manager role:

  • You must have strong media relations abilities from the property sector - either commerical property or investment experience and available to start immediately 
  • You will come from an agency or in-house with experience handling property media
  • There must be no doubt over your exemplary writing skills
  • Ideally you will be an established Account Director working in a PR agency or a Senior Press Officer looking to step up or an In-house PR Manager looking for a better brand
  • A self-starter with the ability to identify stories from trends and data and to produce quality work quickly
  • Be able to deal well under pressure and thrive in a busy press office
  • Have natural confidence along with a genuine and enthusiastic attitude
  • Willing to travel around the UK monthly
