We’re looking for a communications professional to deliver on media relations activity as part of the Media, Marketing and Digital team.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who is skilled and experienced at delivering high quality media relations activity across all channels. As you’ll know we are always in the news. Whether it’s a story about hygiene breaches in cutting plants, the latest food incident or our thoughts on the future of the FSA post Brexit, we deal with the planned and unexpected news agenda, day in, day out. You’ll work in protecting and enhancing the FSA’s reputation as the place to come to for accurate, timely and unbiased information on food – and will play your part in demonstrating that we are an excellent, accountable and modern regulator. 

As well as working on media relations activity you’ll also work very closely with the rest of our team to maintain integrated and coherent communications across the FSA. We cultivate a culture which allows us to have flair and creativity in making our story compelling through many different channels. And we have excellent working relationships with policy colleagues and other communications professionals across government.
