My client is a most prestigious top 10 agency who help major brands tell their story clearly and successfully. In the past three years, my client has doubled in size. Today, more than 200 professionals are delivering creative campaigns and senior strategic counsel to clients around the world from five offices in London, New York, Washington, Nairobi and Doha.

Due to their exceptional success, a most exciting opportunity has arisen for a  Senior Account Executive to join the global Philanthropy team which is a dedicated practice that supports a range of international clients including some of the world’s biggest foundations and high-profile philanthropists; multinational investors with operations in growth markets; and organisations and individuals involved in high profile litigation and disputes. My Client is a most prestigious name and your own background will be a respected international communications agency.

The team:

The multinational team of consultants has worked at the highest levels of media, politics, finance and campaigning.The team brings together experience from the highest levels of the media, politics, and campaigning to work with global markets, challenger brands, NGOs, individuals and industry bodies. They have an unrivalled strategic counsel and an integrated team experienced in delivering for high-profile companies and some of the most exciting entrants to the market.

Their journalistic expertise means they know how to spot and hone a story. The team understands how to make a story work hard across every possible channel. They also provide expert advice and delivery in the digital world, taking in the complex interactions of social media.

The role:

My client is seeking a Senior Account Executive with proven experience of supporting international communications for a diverse range of clients. The right candidate will also ideally have some knowledge of political issues within Africa and/or the Middle East and the role soft power can play in country positioning.  You will be a ‘digital’ native and understand the role digital communications plays in the wider communications mix.

Clients value their strategic approach to securing them coverage that makes their case eloquently in the media, and to stakeholders and influencers.

My client is looking for someone to provide day-to-day support on a number of projects for key accounts in the Middle East or Africa, supporting the creation of bespoke communications strategies, managing media relations and researching stakeholders.

This role will focus on accounts within the International Affairs team with a focus on Africa or the Middle East. The successful applicant may be required to support other teams across a range of clients, issues and disciplines.

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting as a project support officer to ensure project implementation both in-country and from the London office.
  • Assisting in the project management and delivery of digital projects for key client accounts
  • Training staff and building capacity in digital resources
  • Drafting and selling in press releases and news stories to leading international media in Arabic, French and English markets;
  • Managing reactive media relations activity;
  • Supporting the creation of media and stakeholder engagement strategies;
  • Responding quickly and accurately to journalist and client requests;
  • Organising events, press conferences, photo calls etc;
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and attending meetings;
  • Drafting contact reports and agendas for client meetings English.

Candidate Requirements:

You will have at three years’ experience gained in a respected international communications agency. You must be proactive, strategic, creative and detail-driven. Languages a definite bonus, particularly French, but not essential.
