About you

You will be a switched on marketing and communications professional with a proven track record of implementing effective communications strategies. In addition, you will also possess:-

• Excellent oral and written communications in English, able to produce concise copy for online and offline use


• PR and media relations expertise to effectively write, position and recognise opportunities


• A flair for using digital channels and technology to deliver marketing objectives


• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels


• Microsoft competency levels: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word

About the role

This will be an initial 3 month temp contract with a strong possibility to go permanent. Reporting into the Marketing & Communications Director, you will be responsible for implementing and shaping the organisation's communications strategy. You will also be tasked with:-

• Managing their PR agency to develop and deliver a regular flow of proactive press releases


• Developing and managing a content plan to raise awareness of their brand


• Analysing and reporting on external communications activity, media coverage and achievements to contribute to business performance


• Providing digital communications through website, email and social media strategy


• Analysing digital marketing metrics to identify opportunities and implement a programme of continuous improvement


• Maintaining an internal communications plan to ensure clear, consistent and engaging communication


• Managing the production, editorial content and distribution of the monthly internal newsletter


• Championing the use of intranet and work with colleagues to keep content high quality and up-to-date.
