The Company

The strategic communications agency is part of a wider integrated group (with advertising and marketing offerings) and has a really unique approach. Known for their meaty, strategic work, their client base spans huge name accounts across FMCG, personal care, food and drink – think Reckitt Benckiser and Kraft Group foods.

Variety is something that really stands out here – employees can flex their learning with exposure to consumer press office, social/digital, influencer engagement, events, strategic, meaty campaigns and a mix of global and UK work – something you don’t get at that many agencies.

Another point of difference is that a lot of their campaigns have a slant towards social good/purpose, driving positive change through communications.

Culturally, it’s an extremely inclusive and open environment – the CEO and Chairman sit within the teams and everyone’s ideas are welcomed and valued. If there’s an area you want to develop or excel in this is listened to – your career ambitions and development will be prioritised and supported here. Benefits include:

  • 25 days annual leave  + birthday off
  • BUPA healthcare
  • Bonus scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Subsidised restaurant and free breakfast between 8am-8.30am
  • Great social events at least twice yearly
  • Wellness allowance of £50 per month
  • Flexible working - work from home one day a week

The Role- Consumer AD

We are looking for a strong AD or even SAD – this agency doesn’t have the SAD title so the next step would be an Associate Director level hence the salary range being £45,000-£60,000.

What’s important for this role is the strategic and creative side, over the execution/project management. You'll be intellectually curious and thrive on creating strategic, insight led and purpose driven communications campaigns.

You’ll work on flagship accounts in FMCG/food/personal care from a global and UK perspective, so global experience is ideal but not essential. At this level, the ability to combine strong analysis, strategic thinking and planning, with powerful creativity is a must.

Specific skills/experience/attributes required:

  • Experience in developing sophisticated and strategic client proposals ensuring the work is always bespoke and of a high quality
  • Experience working as part of Integrated Agency Teams to ensure that PR takes a lead role in cross discipline strategic planning and have the ability to demonstrate value of this model to clients
  • Proactive: takes the initiative to drive things forward
  • Comfortable giving strategic counsel to senior clients
  • Experience in being part of pitch processes and identifying organic growth opportunities across accounts

In return:

  • A salary of up to £60,0000 depending on experience
  • Blue chip, big brand accounts
  • Global and UK work
  • International offices
  • Dog friendly office
  • Flexible working
  • 25 days annual leave  + birthday off
  • BUPA healthcare
  • Bonus scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Subsidised restaurant and free breakfast between 8am-8.30am
  • Great social events at least twice yearly
  • Wellness allowance of £50 per month
