We are looking for an established Senior Account Manager to join their superstar team and take their career to the next level.

The Senior Account Manager is an established member of the team and is experienced in managing a portfolio of clients, alongside the day-to-day priorities and professional development of their direct reports. You will make a strong contribution to key business objectives and support the Account Director / partner team with the management of clients.

As a Senior Account Manager your role is to effectively manage your team in the daily running of their client accounts, as well as being involved in the delivery of impactful PR campaigns. You will have support from the Account Directors/Directors with strategic direction as required. Overall you will have the ability to anticipate and be sensitive to the client’s internal pressures and feelings about projects and issues, flagging at the earliest possible opportunity to Account Directors and putting forward suggested routes to move forward.


The role:

• Maintain a strong relationship with the day-to-day client contact
• Combine creativity with knowledge of the media to recognise media angles and generate positive news coverage
• Confidently pitch to media, devising creative angles for each journalist
• Drafting press releases

 
The candidate:

• Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills and confidence
• Strong black book of contacts across relevant sectors
• Confident user and understanding of leading social media platforms that work for PR
• Basic understanding of SEO
