Communications Manager - Consumer Campaigns

An innovative and entrepreneurial investments group is looking for a Communications Manager to join their team! This is a great opportunity for an ambitious PR professional to represent a high growth company and run impactful campaigns! You will have experience managing and contributing to integrated marketing and communications campaigns and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is an up and coming consumer household brand and this role will focus on raising the profile of the business within the general public.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Devising and implementing successful, creative media campaigns to support business goals and strengthen corporate reputation and brand awareness
  • To deliver integrated communications, considering all audiences and communication channels, and demonstrate ability to identify and manage reputational risks
  • To act as a mentor to the Communications Executive
  • Working closely with the Communications Director to provide strategic counsel and PR support
  • Developing and implementing a media and broader communications strategy
  • Building and protecting the brand
  • Raising the profile of the co-founders
  • To confidently demonstrate how PR can add value and drive business outcomes, and be responsible for leading on some proactive PR programmes
  • Setting a strategic course for PR and communications alongside an overall brand position

 

Requirements:

  • Agency/in-house communications experience with a strong career trajectory
  • Experience of working on integrated marketing and communications campaigns and initiatives
  • Experience of delivering effective consumer media campaigns
  • Experience of using social media as part of a PR campaign- this is essential
  • Excellent media relation skills and press office management
  • The ability to multi task and a meticulous attention to detail
  • Ideally a strong contact book
  • Strong project management skills and experience of devising, implementing and reporting on campaign activity working with multiple stakeholders
  • Intellectually curious
