We are looking for an experienced PR & Communications Manager to join our Marketing team. The primary focus of their role will be to develop, oversee and implement a media relations, public affairs and internal communication programme, that meets with BRE’s Corporate and Divisional growth strategy and underpins the brand values of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a clear programme for internal and external engagement with stakeholders commensurate with the business outcomes detailed in the Group Strategy
- Maintain and grow profile of BRE’s thought leadership programme, liaising with internal stakeholders
- Ensure that BRE’s key Divisions (BPG, ESIS, FBTG) are appropriately represented in the programme
- Ensure that influencers and customers/prospects are the primary focus of all external communication – and that the activity is tightly focused on specific commercial objectives
- Employ the use of digital technology (including social media) to maximise the reach of external communication efforts
- Ensure the programme is related to the activities elsewhere in the Marketing group i.e. marketing campaigns, conferences, events etc.
- Ensure relationships with key media organisations are constructive and bi-lateral
- Ensure that customer facing activity improves relationships and gains marketplace intelligence
- Develop an international dimension to the programme that at least covers the pro-active international operational plan
- Ensure that the internal communications plan is suitably engaging and high quality to maximise the productivity of the BRE team

Qualifications, experience, essentials skills:
- Relevant degree or equivalent
- Experience in communications within a B2B organisation
- Board-level reporting – written and presentation
- Persuasion, tenacity and confidence
- Diplomacy
- Self-starting and motivation
- Strong writing skills
