An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social Media Manager to take on a pivotal role within a global law firm that is ranked among the top firms in the world. You will be joining a creative and dynamic team and will be responsible for implementing the firm’s social media strategy, ensuring a consistent brand and message across the entirety of the organisations’ social media channels, that supports the strategic goals of the firm. You will also collaborate with the wider team, local practice development, the knowledge management team, and office marketing colleagues to advance all social media activities, staying up to date with the latest trends, technologies and digital communications in the world of social media. The right candidate also will help take on a role within distributing content within websites, blogs, webcasts and podcasts.

Your position as Social Media Lead will involve:

  • Taking on an active and strategic review of organisation’s social media presence and being able to analyse and enhance integration of social media activities with the organisation’s key brand.
  • Taking on an integral role in the design and development of a comprehensive digital communications and social media strategy, using multiple social media platforms.
  • Ensuring this organisation’s social media/digital communications approach is aligned with the firm’s web site and digital media strategy.
  • Leading the development of the organisation’s overall online presence and effectiveness within multiple social media platforms.
  • Staying up to date with the latest emerging technologies and staying in the loop with all social media developments!

This person will have

  • Fantastic career trajectory and strong academics
  • Advanced knowledge of social media strategies with regards to issues management, as well as experience proactively managing a firm’s / company’s online reputation.
  • Have solid experience in social media / digital communications
  • Ideally will have experience from a tier one agency or will have gained a mix of in-house and agency experience
  • Be a natural networker
  • Gravitas and be able to engage with internal stakeholders- partners etc
  • Have energy and enthusiasm
  • Experience in a professional services / B2B context preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
