Account Director – Entertainment PR – Maternity Cover

London’s most reputable Entertainment PR agency is looking for an Account Director to come in and work on some of their global accounts initially for a maternity cover with a view to a permanent role.

This agency works with a range of different clients in the entertainment space and have specialist knowledge of film, television, publishing, gaming, classical music, performing arts, consumer brands and not for profit. This is a role for a candidate who enjoys working on face paced accounts and are looking to take their career a step further and become more integrated.

They are not your standard PR agency with onsite studios, green rooms and video production facilities, you will get a fully immersive look into Entertainment PR.

Responsibilities:

• Act as senior client and media liaison
• Grow the client media base in your area
• Write / oversee team pitches to the media
• Ensure all client briefs are clearly defined and understood by the team
• Produce creative and inspiring campaign proposals across traditional and digital media
• Keep abreast of industry developments and ensure the team is adapting to them
• Provide the Director of Entertainment with accurate information for contracting and accounts

Requirements:

• PR Agency experience – client experience in the Entertainment sector is necessary
• Strong media relations background
• Management experience
• Desire to get stuck in with all other aspects of the business away from traditional PR
