Job Details

Our client is a household name within the broadcasting sector.  As its impact widens, it is ready to hire a talented digital communications professional at manager level (or thereabouts) to join a growing department within the 150-strong national communications team.

You will lead on the digital communications campaigns and be responsible for devising and implementing communications campaigns to enhance and protect the reputation of this division of the organisation.  You’ll plan and develop digital content and will be responsible for reactive communications, primarily on Twitter.

You’ll possess substantial digital communications experience, mostly in the earned media space (although experience of paid social is welcome too).  You’ll have a solid understanding of the principles of SEO, will have a strong creative streak when it comes to producing and shaping content and will be an excellent writer with great attention to detail. In addition to your digital skills, you’ll come armed with experience of working within a press office set-up (either in a client-side role or within a busy consultancy) as you’ll sit within a team that requires some on-call press office cover once a month.

Equally important is cultural fit and team work, so you’ll be down-to-earth, switched-on and engaging, as well as used to an intuitive, flexible and fast-paced way of working.

To find out more about this unique opportunity, send your CV to us via quoting the reference HOC509954.
