Job Details

Do you have passion and enthusiasm? Do you want to join a highly regarded communications department as an Internal Communications Manager? You will be responsible for managing internal communications, ensuring information is delivered to the wider business.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementation of the internal communications strategy with support from the Chief Communications Officer
  • Ensuring that internal information is always successfully communicated to colleagues and in a manner suited to different internal audiences
  • Influencing and managing relationships with different stakeholders
  • Planning, editing and writing content for a variety of internal communications platforms
  • Developing and managing employee engagement strategy
  • Ensuring internal communication messages are consistent with the external messages
  • Responding to staff feedback and adjusting content accordingly
  • The upkeep and update of the intranet

The ideal candidate will be/will have:

  • Experience in delivering high quality employee communications and engagement activity
  • Energy, passion and enthusiasm
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to deliver complex material
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills in order to work with a range of colleagues within the bank
  • Confident in managing a range of internal stakeholders
  • Understanding of employee communications best practice and techniques and ability to convert this to practical application
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Ability to translate business objectives into integrated and targeted internal communications plans
